And you all were right about the seating, that is the biggest stadium (seating wise) around here that I can think off right off the top of my head. Abingdon filled about 90% of their stands too which surprised me, they came out pumped.

Honistly I do not think you can say Clintwood is the clear #1 in the LPD sure they are 3-0 but Coeburn is BAD, Haysi could not stop the run which doomed them and HV was a much closer game than the score showed.

That being said Burton is not putting up numbers like last season however if they can get there passing game going it will make guarding the Jet much tougher

PV played the SWD to within a score so you can not count them out

and Kelly is steamrolling the teams that they have played (sure they are not top tier teams but Kelly is not letting them hang around eaither)

Appy and Pound are much improved from last season and may pull an upset somewhere but they are the only teams I do not think have a legit shot to win the LPD

My crew had the Abingdon/PH game last week while I was out of town. Thoughts on Abingdon was that their not a great team, but not bad either. They said the QB wasn't very accurate at all against PH. Said he was overthrowing his WRs and it wasn't close in that game. Bowles though is a very good coach and if the fans stay out of his way and he can get a couple of more athletes, Abingdon has a solid future. I doubt they will really compete in the SWD though, probably fall middle of the road behind Tazewell, Richlands, and Carroll County. Toss ups with Grundy and Marion just to guess.

I'm not sure about that. Of course it was hard not to improve over last year. As long as they have dipshit for a head coach, they'll never win more than 4 games and it's highly unlikey any of those will be an LPD win. It'll be a bottom feeder CD team or some horrible KY team 5 hours from here.

Maybe he just played way over his head last night..... Dude threw a nice deep ball with a tight spiral, no wounded ducks from him last night. He overthrew a couple of receivers last night but put 2-3 40+ yard balls on a rope that his receivers either dropped or didn't have the foot work to stay in bounds. Of course, we are no where near the level of years past so things may just look different in my eyes compared to that. Gonna be a fun year to watch.

Yep, it was on the road I thought it was. I went in the back way and it was packed full when we got there. That is a nice place over there, a little outdated but HUGE. Very limited concessions and they were out of everything by halftime but other than that, good place to watch a game.

You saved yourself quit a few steps then compared to if you parked in front. They definitely have the room over there.
